Julia Tamsen designed the jaw-dropping interiors of the GEMS II yacht. They combine Zebrano and ebony woods with white leather-clad walls and designer furniture, like the 1960s ball chairs in the main salon by Finnish designer Eero Aarnio.

There’s a real focus on blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. On the main deck, glass doors open up across the full beam of the yacht, while the sky lounge uses a glass roof to allow natural light to surge in.

There’s space to accommodate 12 guests across five cabins during your GEMS II yacht charter. The full-beam master suite lies forward on the main deck and has its own office, a very large en suite, and three walk-in wardrobes. The rest of the guest cabins are found midships on the lower deck, with two double cabins and two twins with two extra Pullman berths.

Yacht Facilities & Entertainment

The stunning sky lounge is a particular highlight of the GEMS II motor yacht. You’ll find a formal dining table and a couple of plush sofas inside, with so much natural light that it feels like you’re actually outside. The lounge spills onto the aft deck through glass windows that open completely and lead to a sit-up bar that feels like a hip rooftop bar/lounge. If you want to take a seat, there’s space for the whole party on the oversized U-shaped sofa at the back.

Even the foredeck space is optimised for guest enjoyment. You can enjoy an alfresco breakfast at the U-shaped seats, then stretch out across the sun pads before flopping into the Jacuzzi.

The main salon features multiple areas to lounge. You can play a game of chess or watch a movie from the sofas on the port side, or stretch out on the chaise longues while you flip through a book.

Toys and Crew

A crew of eight will get the party started during your GEMS II yacht charter.

When you want to head ashore—or bring your party guests on board—there’s a 5-metre Williams 505 Diesel jet tender you can use.

You’ll also find plenty of water toys on the GEMS II yacht, including a huge water slide. She also carries a Seadoo, Seabob, SUP, inflatable kayak and various towable toys. You can even play with the wakeboard and waterskis or head out for a snorkel. For something more relaxing, you can swim in the inflatable pool that’s enclosed by a net to keep out jellyfish and other fish or pollutants.
