The Rolls-Royce Summer Studio with Edmiston
19th July 2016
Now in its third year, Rolls-Royce’s legendary summer residence in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, is set to be its biggest and most spectacular yet. There are more incredible cars on show and more special events to attend, and this year there is also a new addition, The Yacht Zone. International superyacht brokerage house Edmiston is partnering with Rolls-Royce, delivering some nautical splendour to go with all the automotive cool.
Within the Edmiston Yacht Zone there will be a storyboard and models detailing the design and build of the Blohm+Voss BV80, a 262ft, €115m superyacht designed by Eidsgaard Design. Representatives from Edmiston will be on hand to discuss the project and the wider superyacht world, including yachts available for charter in the Mediterranean area.
Sardinia, and particularly Porto Cervo, has long been a hot-spot for superyacht owners and charterers, and those visiting the island will be able to take advantage of exclusive Rolls-Royce Summer Studio offerings, including nightly Aperitivo Evenings as well as invitation-only events and the opportunity to drive one of several
Rolls-Royce models, including the Wraith.
Open to the public since June, the official opening of the Summer Studio will take place on the 17th of July and include the reveal of the brand new Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith. There will also be an exclusive showcase of a very special bespoke project - Dusk till Dawn, with cars inspired by the stunning local coastline, known as the Costa Smeralda.
Rolls-Royce has commissioned a pair of highly bespoke motor cars specifically for the Studio, featuring exotic leather applications and emerald stone inlays. London-based tattoo artist and designer Mo Coppoletta will bring to life the Dusk till Dawn concept, adding his own unique narrative to the interiors.
