Severin°s: bigger, bolder, Baglietto
Baglietto has a proven formula for their 48 metre design, with their fourth yacht already under construction and available for sale. However, the owner of SEVERIN°S wanted a bigger, bolder concept with fully customised features.
Necessity is the mother of invention – Edmiston broker Cornelius Gerling, designer Francesco Paszkowski and the shipyard set about pushing the 48 metre hull platform to create exactly what the Owner ordered.
55 metre, 760 gross ton Severinºs has an exceptionally large, double infinity-edge sun deck of over 165 square metres – nearly 30 per cent bigger than most yachts of the same length. A swim-up bar-style Jacuzzi, dining area and huge sun pads create a very relaxed ambience to this all-day sun terrace.
Inside, Paszkowski and his long-term interior collaborator Margherita Caspini have created a superbly sophisticated classic contemporary home. It is a wonderful fusion of textures, muted colours and bold furniture pieces. Paszkowski is a master of concealed lighting integrated into fixtures and fittings.
Tenders are stored on the foredeck creating more internal space for a huge master suite. One entire side of the open-aspect beach club is a video wall. Low-lying seating, a steam shower and gym equipment make this a very casual sea-level hang-out where sunloungers or dining tables could be laid out on the extended swimming platform. A side balcony unfolds for easy access to jet skis and tenders.
Steps up from the beach club take you into a teak-decked part of the main salon that can be screened off by glass panels to create a winter garden with its own bar and seating.
Six suites for 12 guests are set out over three different decks connected by a glass lift. Severinºs will finish her final fit out ready to join the Edmiston charter fleet in the Mediterranean next summer. For enquiries, please contact one of our brokers or click here.
The Owner’s ideas made necessity the mother of invention.
