Yachts with Pools and Hot Tubs

One of the biggest luxuries of the yachting lifestyle is being able to take a dip without leaving your yacht, so take the plunge with one of these stunning yachts with pools

Picture the scene: it’s mid-afternoon, you’ve been sunning yourself beneath cloudless skies and you’re starting to feel the heat, so you saunter over to your sun deck Jacuzzi to cool down and take in the view and before you know it, your glass has been topped up by your ever-attentive crew. This isn’t mere fantasy but the everyday reality when you choose a yacht with a tub or even one with a pool.

Having your own hot tub or pool is the ultimate luxury on a yacht – it’s what turns a standard yacht into an opulent resort, or better still, an on-the-water spa.

Whether you like to start your day with a refreshing swim, watch the kids from your sunpad as they frolic in the pool, or sink into the water at night for a romantic tête-à-tête as you gaze upon the starry skies, a hot tub or pool is an indulgent accessory to your onboard life.

And when it comes to choosing between myriad yachts with pools, there are lots of options to consider. Maybe you want an elevated hot tub for panoramic views, an infinity pool that makes you feel as though you’re in six-star heaven, a contraflow pool or even one with a full-on waterfall feature – yachts with pools come in all shapes and sizes.

And as yachts are increasing in size and volume, water features are getting bigger and better. A glass-fronted pool provides an impressive aesthetic, but why stop there when you can have a glass-bottomed one? And thinking of it, why stop at one Jacuzzi when you can have two?

Hot tubs and Jacuzzis may not be essential items, but for many of us, it simply wouldn’t be a yachting holiday without one.

Best yachts for sale with hot tubs and pools

If you’re looking to buy a yacht with a hot tub or pool, then these are some of the most lust-worthy yachts available to buy.

Sunrays

The 85m 2010 Oceanco motor yacht SUNRAYS has lots of commanding features, not least of which are its four Jacuzzis, including a large Jacuzzi pool on the aft deck and one secreted away on the private Owner’s terrace. SUNRAYS yacht also comes with a helipad, an air-conditioned gym. She has been in the same ownership since new and has an excellent proven charter record.

Bleu de Nimes

It’s hard to believe that this 72.25m modern ocean voyager was once a British Royal Naval degaussing ship, built in 1980 by Clelands Shipbuilding Company, as following the completion of a major rebuild in 2020, she’s now a beautiful cruiser, albeit one with very traditional interiors. Among her numerous impressive amenities, the BLEU DE NIMES yacht has two Jacuzzis, which sit side by side on her vast sundeck, plus lots of loungers for sunbathing between dips. However, with accommodation for up to 28 guests, it’s just as well there are two, to avoid post-gym queues. BLEU DE NIMES yacht is also available for charter.

Solo

The 72m 2018 Tankoa-built yacht SOLO not only comes with a Jacuzzi on one of the Owner’s two private terraces and a Jacuzzi on the sun deck, but it also has a large infinity pool on the main deck aft. With a pop-up TV screen, the main deck aft can also convert seamlessly to an outdoor cinema, and there is easy access to the oversized on-the-water beach club, which has its own bar, gym, Hammam, and sauna.

Polaris I

The 48.3m 2014 Rossinavi-built motor yacht POLARIS I is unashamedly opulent throughout, so it should perhaps come as no surprise that its sun deck is anything but modest. Spanning 120 square metres, POLARIS I’s sun deck comes with an adjustable hardtop, offering alfresco dining as required, but the icing on the cake is undoubtedly the 3.5m pool with its own waterfall. Yachts of much smaller stature should take a bow.

Moon Sand

The 44.20m 2015 Feadship MOON SAND has an ace up her sleeve that is unheard of in a yacht in the sub-50m category: a contraflow 6m swimming pool.  Hidden from view on the main deck aft, the pool reveals itself at the push of a button. It’s a fantastic use of space and allows guests to have a swim while still chatting to friends who are having a casual lunch or drink at the nearby C-shaped settee. With shade provided by the above deck, it’s ideal for parents who want to keep a close eye on kids, and when it’s hidden away there is space for more formal dining.

Best charter yachts with hot tubs and pools

Yachts with pools and yachts with hot tubs are becoming increasingly popular on the charter market. If this is your one extravagant holiday of the year, then you’ll want to make sure all the boxes on your list of must-haves are ticked and it’s highly likely that chilling out by the pool with friends and family comes high on your list of priorities.

Lady S

A grand dame of the water, the 93m Feadship yacht LADY S offers some of the best amenities of any charter yacht on the market. Her IMAX Dolby cinema, with two viewing platforms (it’s the first of its kind in the world), is obviously a big draw but there is so much more to this beautiful belle. Her jewellery box-style interiors are endlessly elegant, but it is her glass-bottomed pool on its own deck that really sets her apart from her peers.

Aquijo

Pools and hot tubs are not the preserve of motor yachts, though it may sometimes feel the case. If you are looking to charter a sailing yacht with a Jacuzzi, then you may want to take a closer look at the 86m Vitters and Oceanco yacht AQUIJO. Brimming with the kind of luxurious facilities you’d usually expect of a motor yacht, AQUIJO offers that fail-safe combination of high-performance and sumptuous accommodation. By far, her biggest standout feature is her gorgeous beach club with ocean-view Jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna and there’s even a second Jacuzzi on the flybridge.

Savannah

For charter guests who love their swimming, the 30ft swimming pool onboard the 83.50m Feadship hybrid yacht SAVANNAH is just the ticket. Taking up most of the main deck aft, it connects effortlessly to the main salon, has plenty of space for lounging around between laps, and has steps leading directly down to the swim platform for those moments when you fancy an ocean swim. Elsewhere, SAVANNAH yacht also has a plunge pool on the sun deck, where there’s a BBQ and DJ station crying out for sunset parties.

Lioness V

There are sun decks and then there is the sun deck of the 63.50m Benetti LIONESS V, which features an elevated pool area finished in stone. After an hour or two here, you might easily forget you are holidaying on the water and not reclining in the grounds of an Italianate palace. Concealed speakers and an array of soft sunpads – plus a full bar – make this one of the chicest pool areas around.

Severin*s

The 55m custom-built Baglietto SEVERINS not only has a striking blue and white hull that will help you make an impression in the marina, but her 160 square metre sun deck is simply divine. There is a large sunbathing area aft, a bar, a slick plunge pool forward, and further sunpads beyond. And if that’s not all, she also comes with a double access beach club. All-in-all she’s well designed for enjoying the Mediterranean sunshine.
