Currently in build with the hull and superstructure already constructed and soon to be joined, this long-range displacement motor yacht is the first of her kind and will form part of a new Caribbean Line from Moonen.
The Caribbean Line marks a new, more contemporary direction for Moonen – keeping all of the yards traits for reliability, low noise and vibration and peerless engineering and build quality, and adding a far more modern and striking design lift to both the exterior and interior. Design notes include a plumb bow, side opening tender garage, and large deck spaces, all of which break new ground for the brand stylistically.
Her lightweight high-tensile steel construction and unique Enhanced Length Principle (ELP) hull design will offer an impressive turn of speed, significant fuel savings and excellent comfort underway. The Caribbean Line name also refers to a shallow draft, making this an ideal yacht for exploring the Caribbean’s tranquil bays and harbours.
Nauta Design Italy, of Lürssen AZZAM fame, is responsible for the five-cabin interior renderings you see here, with their work and fees included in the price. However, should you wish to employ your own interior designer the shipyard will be happy to work with them.
The Martinique will be the big sister to the Moonen Matica, BIJOUX, recently delivered and displayed at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, where she enjoyed excellent feedback for her design and build quality. The feedback from BIJOUX’s owner has also been similarly impressive.
