Neil Mattimoe

With over 30 years’ seagoing experience, Neil began with a commercial cadetship, working primarily on oil tankers, before switching to yachts in 2003, working his way up through the ranks from 3rd Engineer to Chief and Build Engineer.

Moving shoreside in 2021, Neil worked for a Monaco-based management company before joining Edmiston in October 2022. He brings a wide breadth of knowledge and experience, from routine planned maintenance to emergency dockings, refits and new builds.

Neil is nothing if not versatile – he could be working inside a black water tank one day and fixing a charter guest’s favourite belt pin the next.
