Orry Crews

Orry has always been passionate about the sea: he began working as a launchman at the age of 15, leading to roles as a patrol officer and a pilot launch coxswain. Then, aged 19 he embarked on a Merchant Navy Cadetship.

He then spent significant time at sea as a deck officer and commander before transitioning into ship management, supporting captains in the safe day-to-day operation of their yachts.

Orry believes as the industry makes strides towards sustainability, we’ll see new rules and regulations, and we’ll need to evolve to be able to continue to safely operate and manage yacht operations.
