Gulfstream appoints Edmiston as international sales representative for United Kingdom and Channel Islands

In the latest extension of the Edmiston brand, Gulfstream has named us its international sales representative for the UK and Channel Islands

The synergy between yachts and private aircraft is strong and so we are delighted to announce that Edmiston is to be the UK and Channel Islands sales representative for US aircraft designer and developer Gulfstream, which shares our commitment to sustainability and is one of the biggest names in the aerospace world.

Announcing the deal, Scott Neal, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, at Gulfstream, said: “Michael Swift, Gulfstream’s Division Vice President of Sales for EMEA-ISC, and I look forward to working with Jamie Edmiston and his team to leverage their local expertise as we continue to expand our presence and grow our share in these key markets.

Edmiston is well-respected in their industry and was an excellent partner choice given their strong customer relationships and shared focus on sustainability.”

The news is the latest step in Edmiston’s bid to create seamless luxury travel packages for its customers. A year ago, in an industry first, we announced our partnership with Europe’s leading private jet airport, Farnborough. Edmiston clients arriving at the airport are quickly ushered into the luxurious Edmiston Lounge, where they can relax in high-end comfort before boarding their flight to reach their yacht.

It was at Farnborough Airport that Gulfstream opened its state-of-the-art LEED-certified 20,903 square metre service centre in 2020, designed with sustainability at the fore, with everything from rainwater harvesting to heat recovery systems.

Inspired by a belief that aviation could fuel business growth, Gulfstream invented the first purpose-built business aircraft, the Gulfstream I, which first flew in 1958, and today its fleet of more than 3,000 aircraft include the super-midsize Gulfstream G280, the high-performing Gulfstream G650 and Gulfstream G650ER, and a next-generation family of aircraft including the all-new Gulfstream G400.

But perhaps most impressive of all is the fact that Gulfstream was also the first original equipment manufacturer to fly on 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and it was the first business jet to cross the Atlantic using SAF.

Commenting on the new partnership, Jamie Edmiston, Chief Executive of Edmiston, said: “We have long been known as innovators in both business and marketing, working with leaders in their respective fields.

I am delighted to be partnering with Gulfstream, the industry leaders in sustainability innovation and with the most highly regarded fleet of business jets.
