Our brokers have sold three of the Italian brand’s finest ever sailing yachts in just seven weeks
The synergy between Edmiston and prestigious Italian brand Perini Navi has been further strengthened, as our brokers have completed sales on three of the yard’s sailing yachts, all in the 50m+ category, in a matter of weeks.
The yachts sold include the timeless beauty 56m ROSEHEARTY, one of the fastest yachts in the Perini Navi fleet; the 56m MELEK, with its futuristic hydraulic transom; and 56m ZENJI, a successful mega sailing yacht that still delivers on speed and comfort at sea.
The sales follow on from an excellent year of collaboration for Perini Navi and Edmiston, with Edmiston reporting a 100% market share of Perini Navi sailing yachts sold in 2021.
Edmiston has also been involved with over 60% of all sales of Perini Navis over 40m in the past two years.
Perini Navi yachts are admired across the industry, with their combination of speed, high-quality engineering, elegant innovations, and luxurious interiors leading many to consider them modern masterpieces. They are a perennially popular choice when it comes to both sales and charters.
Edmiston has the largest Perini Navi fleet in the industry and the success of the partnership can be largely attributed to Edmiston’s well-placed, expert brokers, who have been able to call upon their years of experience and knowledge, as well as their engaged market networks, to match the new Owners with their yachts.
It’s especially good news for our Newport office, which has been involved in all three deals, once again demonstrating it peerless contacts base and all-round expertise in the sailing market, particularly when it comes to Perini Navis.
Based in the old Perini Navi premises on Goat Island, our Newport office is headed up by Bruce Brakenhoff who is joined by sales broker Dirk Johnson and their passion for the brand shines through. Bruce Brakenhoff was also the listing broker for the 45m Perini Navi yacht CLAN VIII, which sold in December.
