Edmiston outperforms market with impressive sales fleet record

Our tendency to sell yachts faster than our competitors continues and we’re looking forward to what 2023 brings

Edmiston’s sales record over the past two years is exemplary. With 74 yachts sold over 30m – totalling 3,450m of yachts – we have sold over 55% of our sales fleet, and as Central Agents we have been involved in four of the 10 largest yacht deals so far this year.

This remarkable achievement has secured us a 20% market share of all yachts sold over 70m.

When we sell yachts, we know speed is of the essence for our clients, which is why our brokers are proud to sell our CAs at twice the speed of the industry average. The recent sale of SILENCIO, the pedigree Perini sailing yacht that we sold in-house in 141 days, is one case in point. She represents one of the fastest selling Perini sailing yachts in recent years.

Once again, it shows that our brokers’ expertise and efficiency, selling an average of five yachts each over the past two years – more than double the average of the top brokerage houses.

Other sales successes at the start of 2023, include the pedigree Feadship GITANA, which again sold faster that the market average; LADY JORGIA (now ANDREA), which we sold off-market, representing both the Seller and the Buyer; and ILLUSION I, the 55m Feadship, continuing our impressive sales record when it comes to Feadships.

Speaking of our many sales successes, Alex Koersvelt, Edmiston’s Commercial Director, said: “With 24 in-house deals and 12 off-market deals in 2021-2022, we have proven once more that having the best market intelligence and sales team is key to being a successful ally for our clients in today’s market.

For those in the market to buy, the 42m Feadship LADY CHARLOTTE has recently had a substantial price reduction and is now offered for sale for €16,950,000 EU VAT Paid. She will be delivered to her new Owner in pristine condition following completion of her 5-Year Special Lloyd’s Survey in March.

Also offered for sale with a significant price reduction is the 50m Ortona Navi yacht ARBEMA. In turnkey condition and with a proven charter record, ARBEMA is now offered for sale for €13,500,000. Additionally, PINK GIN VI, which at 54m is the largest carbon sailing sloop in the world, has just received a €2,000,000 price reduction, bringing her price down to €27,500,000 with EU VAT paid.

Other yachts completing our impressive sales line-up include the 70m Tankoa-built yacht SOLO, which offers the perfect combination of performance and luxury; the award-winning luxurious and fast world-cruising 56m yacht SALVAJE from Alloy Yachts and the 47m Feadship KISS, which manages to fit a private Owner’s deck into her sub-50m frame.

If you’re interested in any of these yachts, don’t delay, because at Edmiston, we’re not here to just list yachts, we’re here to sell them.
