2024 has been another year of market rebalancing with a noticeable increase in price reductions in the market fuelling the positive increase in sales we’ve seen since July.
With major elections across both Europe and the US now concluded, we foresee continued strength in the market as we close out 2024.

2024 sales success: A look at the numbers
To date, Edmiston has far outperformed all of the top brokerage houses with a total value of deals in excess of EUR 1.3 billion, significantly more than our next competitor.
Our core market has remained focused on yachts ranging 30 to well over 100 metres with a particular focus at the top of the market for pedigree, quality, size, and indeed value — of which, we have sold more 40 metre yachts than any other brokerage, and similarly, we have sold more yachts over EUR 20 million than any other brokerage. Our time on the market is half the industry average — a continuation of the past three years.
We have achieved this through having the most efficient team in the business, with a track record of selling more yachts per broker than anyone else.
As always, client discretion remains a top priority for Edmiston and through our robust network of motivated buyers, we completed an increased number of deals off market this year.
We have seen continued growth across our core areas of business, and through the strategic appointment of brokers in our international markets and the addition of key personnel in our Yacht Management team, we’re excited to continue our expansion and service offerings in 2025 and beyond.
