A four-year full mechanical rebuild has updated BLEU DE NÎMES from a navy ship-turned luxury superyacht into a beautiful charter-ready ocean voyager boasting a 20,000nm range and a heap of amenities.
It was such a comprehensive overhaul that Lloyd’s classified the BLEU DE NÎMES motor yacht as a new construction. Built to comply with the Passenger Yacht Code, she has space for 28 guests across 13 cabins and a crew of 23.
The goal of BLEU DE NÎMES’S yacht owner was to create as much space as possible during her first rebuild. Her second (and most recent) four-year rebuild extended her length by 16m and increased her volume by nearly 600GT.
The new length of 72.25m was achieved by adding a 12m section mid-ship and a new 4m transom. It’s given her a more elegant profile with her deep blue hull, bright red waterline and classic white superstructure.
Further additions to the BLEU DE NÎMES motor yacht include a touch-and-go helipad, a beach club, a full mechanical rebuild, improved stability at sea, a range of 20,000nm at 12 knots, and an elevator serving all six of her decks.
She now has several amenities that are sure to make BLEU DE NÎMES popular with the charter market , including a cinema room on the main deck; a sauna, massage room, and gym on the bridge deck; and two Jacuzzis on the sun deck, where there’s also plenty of space to lounge in the sunshine or enjoy a drink at the sit-up bar.
You’ll find accommodation for 28 guests across 13 cabins on the BLEU DE NÎMES yacht. The full-beam owner’s suite on the upper deck forward is equipped with an emperor-size bed, his and her bathrooms and walk-in dressing rooms, and a separate study. The remaining guests are accommodated below, with two VIP cabins on the main deck and a further six doubles, two triples and two twins on the lower deck.
Her Pier Vittorio Cerruti-designed interior is full of rich American cherry wood, rattan furniture, soft white furnishing and antiques. The main saloon on the BLEU DE NÎMES yacht is spacious, with four settees facing each other, and is complemented by two smaller, cosier salons forward to port and starboard. The formal dining room aft splits guests across two tables that each seat six and overlook floor-to-ceiling windows leading to the main deck.
Four tenders complement the BLEU DE NÎMES yacht for sale: two 9.3m custom fishing and beach landing tenders and two 9.15m Solemar tenders. She’s also got a further 4.3m Solemar offshore tender and a 4.6m DSB rescue tender.
The BLEU DE NÎMES yacht for sale includes Seadoo Jetskis, a Yamaha Superjet, a Laser sailing boat, canoes, a windsurf and a SUP. She’s also got diving equipment with 12 cylinders and one Coltri compressor.
