IDUNA is a lovingly restored classic sailing yacht that evokes memories of the golden age of yachting.
The IDUNA yacht was rebuilt between 2000 and 2003 and has been in the hands of her current owner for 15 years. During that time, IDUNA has been regularly maintained and renewed, which makes her one of the most cost-effective classic yachts on the market today.
Exterior Design & Engineering
IDUNA’s most recent refit, in 2022, added a new main mast, new standing rigging and new paint and antifouling. Her technical systems were also thoroughly overhauled.
This 33.5 metre sailing yacht was one of the first to be built by Feadship in 1939. Much of her modern upgrades have been done in a way that retails the DNA of her classic spirit.
The exterior of the IDUNA sailing yacht was designed by De Voogt. Her long, flat deck looks very much as it would have done at her launch in the 1930s. This impression is complemented by her expansive teak planking, restored and replicated bronze finishing and original features like her skylight that illuminates the main salon below.
Amenities
A firm fixture on the Mediterranean classic regatta scene, the IDUNA yacht can be easily handled by four people thanks to her full set of hydraulic winches.
There are plenty of places to sit together and enjoy a drink or meal on this luxury superyacht. You’ll find a table and chairs behind the deckhouse on the main deck aft and a main salon and lounge on the lower deck.
Six guests can be accommodated in three cabins, with space for four crew. The cabins are comprised of an owner’s cabin with a Queen-size bed and en suite, a double cabin and a twin.
Interior Design
The interior of the IDUNA yacht is totally new and full of modern touches, but it’s been done in a way that recreates her original 1930s design. It features cream carpets and sofas with lots of cherrywood and colourful accents throughout.
Toys & Tenders
The IDUNA yacht for sale also comes with a 4-metre Novurania Tohatsu tender.
