The elegant and timeless Feadship yacht A2 is listed for sale following a major refit in 2022.
First launched in 1983, this classic luxury superyacht was completely rebuilt in 2012 by Pendennis. A2 has been looked after by her longstanding crew since the rebuild and is in first-class condition thanks to her recent overhaul and no expense spared maintenance.
Full Description
Exterior Design & Engineering
The A2 motor yacht was first built by Feadship and named Masquerade of Sole. During her Pendennis rebuild, her steel hull was extended to 46.9 metres and painted a striking blue.
During the same rebuild, her superstructure was improved and restyled, and she was given new machinery and systems.
It was her 2021/22 refit that saw the A2 yacht benefit from new navigation equipment, air conditioning upgrades and a major engine room systems service. She also got upgrades to her guest and crew interiors, her hull was repainted, and her deck was re-caulked. She has also had two new generators installed in 2023 to prepare her to go anywhere.
Powered by two MTU engines, A2 has a cruising speed of 12 knots.
Amenities
The open-plan main salon of the A2 yacht has multiple seating areas and leads to a formal dining room that seats eight amidship. Her upper salon is the ideal spot for movie nights, with a huge wall-mounted TV and plenty of comfy seating—but if you need to work, you can use the desk beside the sliding doors.
If you prefer to dine outside, you’ll find two tables on the main deck aft and one on the aft of the upper deck with a parasol to offer shade if required.
Her expansive sun deck is spacious enough for morning exercise, or you can simply stretch out across her loungers and soak up the rays.
Interior Design
Step inside the A2 yacht, and you’ll find a rare Peter Marino interior featuring a stylish mix of teak and bronze. Her interior has stayed true to Marino’s enduring style despite modern additions and technological updates.
The living areas are soft and inviting, with large sofas to fall into and lots of modern art to admire.
There are five cabins that can accommodate up to 15 guests and space for a crew of nine. The guest accommodation includes a master cabin, a VIP cabin, two twin cabins and a quadruple cabin. The VIP cabin has a convertible King or twin beds with a Pullman, while the two twins each have an additional Pullman if needed.
Toys & Tenders
The A2 yacht for sale comes with two tenders: a Hodgdon Custom 6.5-metre Mini Venetian Limousine with Volvo Penta D3-220 (2018) and a custom Ribeye YT600 rib (2021). Both can be stored on her aft upper deck when underway.
She’s also sold with a generous toy collection that includes two Hobie Mirage Oasis kayaks, two inflatable paddle boards, a wakeboard, a Bauer dive compressor and complete diving equipment, snorkelling equipment and various inflatable towable toys.
