Interior Design & Engineering
The AQUA MEKONG was built in 2014 to offer luxurious travel between Cambodia and Vietnam. Measuring 62.4 metres, this riverboat cruises at eight knots, allowing you to witness as much of life along the Mekong as you can.
The interiors of the AQUA MEKONG are by Saigon-based British architect David Hodkinson of Noor Design, whose portfolio includes a range of luxury hotels and restaurants in Asia and Europe.
Your AQUA MEKONG yacht charter can accommodate 40 guests in 20 cabins. Each room has floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony, so you won’t miss out on the spectacular views when it’s time to retire to your cabin.
Yacht Facilities & Entertainment
When you’re not off exploring locations like the Angkor Wat temple complex or the wildlife and wetlands of Tonle Sap, you can relax on board the AQUA MEKONG. There’s a boutique library with plenty of newspapers and magazines to flip through, plus a bar and lounge on board. There’s also a restaurant, a pool, a fully equipped gym, a cinema for movie nights and wooden games to play with.
Toys and Crew
A crew of 40 will oversee your AQUA MEKONG yacht charter.
Some of the exciting excursions you can enjoy include a trip to Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary at Tonle Sap to take a look around the UNESCO biosphere and spot some of the rare birds that live there. You could watch artisans make royal Khmer silverware in the silversmith village of Koh Chen, ride an ox-cart along the banks of Tonle Sap, or receive a ceremonial blessing from a monk in the floating village of Moat Khla. A number of active excursions are also available, including cycling, kayaking or canoeing.
