Buy a berth in the Côte d’ Azur’s most sought-after port

Edmiston has partnered with the IYCA Port Vauban to co-exclusively offer long-term leases on superyacht berths in Antibes

Cap d’Antibes in the Cote d’ Azur is one of the superyacht world’s most fashionable spots, and if there’s one port that’s more desirable than most, it’s Port Vauban, whose state-of-the-art facilities are in prime position in the French Riviera.

Edmiston have teamed up with the port known as the ‘home port of yachting’ to offer long-term leases on berths, which are some of the most sought-after superyacht berths in the world.

Port Vauban elegantly combines heritage and modernity in its brand-new superyacht facilities, which include a new yacht club and helipad designed by Phillipe Prost, who was recently awarded the highest French distinction for architecture, the Grand Prix National de l ’Architecture.

The helipad provides seamless and exclusive passage for berth owners travelling from their yacht to and from the neighbouring airports (Nice, Cannes, Monaco heliport) and the surrounding area.

The port’s impressive facilities, together with its enviable position overlooking the Cap d ’Antibes, between Monaco and St Tropez, make it the prime spot.

As expected of a port of this class, clients of the IYCA can expect the highest level of service from the moment they arrive.

Though the largest berths of the International Yacht Club of Antibes (IYCA) at Port Vauban have now been sold, there are still berths available for yachts ranging from 85m to 110m, with leases ranging from 10 to 20 years and staged payments. The latest sales include the largest berth lease in the Cote d’Azure, 160m Berth 18.

This is a rare opportunity to take out a lease in this superyachting hotspot, as port concessions only get renewed every 20 to 40 years in the South of France, so there will not be another opportunity until 2042.

Jamie Edmiston, CEO of Edmiston, says: “Port Vauban is a product of vision and legacy, uplifting the long-standing yachting tradition of Antibes and we are delighted to be working closely with the port. Its facilities offered within this outstanding set-up are an exceptional opportunity for our clients, including its easy access to sensational cruising grounds, alongside the benefit of the excellent port base with all amenities is unrivalled.
