EDMISTON & The SWAN ALLOY Series:

A NEW CHAPTER in PERFORMANCE SAILING.

Shaped by its collaboration with Sanlorenzo, Nautor Swan steps confidently into the world of aluminium superyachts with a renewed focus on sustainability, scale, and elevated performance. This new direction reflects the brand’s ambition to evolve while staying true to its heritage and design principles.
“When a yacht carries true heritage and genuine performance, the market responds. The Swan Alloy series brings both together, and we believe it will resonate with experienced sailors looking for the next evolution of high-performance world cruisers.” Bruce Brakenhoff, Executive Director at Edmiston & Swan Alloy Senior Advisor. Leading this evolution is the Swan Alloy 44, the first yacht in a visionary series brought to market exclusively with Edmiston as the commercial and strategic sales representative.
We are excited to embark on this journey with Sanlorenzo and Nautor Swan to establish the brand at the pinnacle of performance sailing yacht production.

Engineering the Future of Sailing

A PARTNERSHIP forged for the FUTURE.

Nautor Swan’s collaboration with Sanlorenzo represents far more than a strategic business move. Sanlorenzo’s acquisition of a majority stake in the shipyard has created a shared vision for a new generation of high-performance, environmentally conscious sailing yachts. It unites Sanlorenzo’s leadership in sustainable yacht innovation with Swan’s iconic legacy, elevating engineering, craftsmanship and production capability across the programme.

This new alliance opens the door to a series of larger, semi-custom aluminium sailing yachts that honour the purity of Swan’s heritage while embracing a meaningful, future-focused approach to design and construction.

The SWAN ALLOY 44.

The Swan Alloy 44 is the first expression of this partnership and marks a deliberate step into a new scale of yachtbuilding for Nautor Swan. Designed by Malcolm McKeon and developed by Nautor Swan’s New Product Development and Finnish Technical Office teams, it reinterprets the brand’s unmistakable DNA through a more contemporary lens.

The Swan Alloy 44 remains true to what has always defined Swan — a balance of beauty, proportion and purposeful simplicity — yet carries the engineering depth and design sophistication that reflect the influence of Sanlorenzo’s superyacht culture. It is evolution without compromise and the beginning of a bold new chapter for the shipyard.

“Nautor Swan has always represented authenticity in sailing. The Swan Alloy series builds on that legacy with performance, innovation, and true pedigree at a moment the market is ready for.”

SUSTAINABILITY at the CORE.

The most significant marker of this new direction is the Swan Alloy 44’s commitment to sustainability. Forward-looking technologies, including hydrogeneration systems pioneered within Sanlorenzo’s fleet, have been adapted and enhanced for use aboard the Swan Alloy. The result is a yacht that lessens environmental impact without diminishing performance or the essential purity of the sailing experience.

It is a yacht shaped for those who value both the thrill of the sea and the responsibility that comes with exploring it.

EDMISTON PERSPECTIVE

CRAFTED across EUROPE, CREATED for the WORLD.

The Swan Alloy 44 embodies a rare form of European collaboration, shaped by shipyards whose reputations have long defined excellence. Its hull begins at the renowned Gouwerok Shipyard in the Netherlands, where precision is heritage rather than aspiration. From there, the yacht finds its full expression in Viareggio, within Nautor Swan’s advanced new facility and supported by Sanlorenzo’s seasoned network of specialist craftsmen. Through this partnership, Malcolm McKeon’s design vision is transformed into reality by teams whose collective expertise represents some of the strongest capabilities in modern yacht building.
Every Swan carries a legacy, and the Swan Alloy 44 advances it with intent. It moves with a balance of grace and strength, delivering power through a framework engineered for endurance. Its technology is modern, yet its spirit remains firmly rooted in the values that have shaped Swan for over half a century. More than a yacht, it stands as a testament to creativity, ambition and forward-thinking design – the first of a new generation and a bold symbol of what becomes possible when iconic European shipyards channel their strengths into a single, uncompromising vision. Unmistakably Swan. Built to lead.
