International Miami Boat Show 2026: A global yachting showcase

Taking place from 11-15 February 2026, the annual International Miami Boat Show is one of the largest boat show in the world and a stunning showcase of some of the best yachts and biggest innovations making waves across the marine industry.

A collaboration between the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and the International Yacht Brokers Association and produced by Informa Markets, the Miami Boat Show has been held in one form or another since 1941. In 2022, big changes came when the Miami Yacht Show merged with Superyacht Miami to create one huge show rebranded as the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show.

Today, the show attracts 100,000 visitors a year to the Sunshine State’s coastal city and has a combined annual economic impact of $1.34 billion. As well as inspiring people to explore life on the water, in recent years there has been a growing emphasis on the luxury yachting lifestyle and the 2026 Miami boat show is expected to have a bigger superyacht presence than ever before.

Here is your guide to the Discover Boating Miami Boat Show 2026, whether you are an experienced yacht owner exploring a new acquisition with our expert management and brokerage support, or discovering the world of yachting for the first time.

What’s new for the Miami Boat Show 2026 edition

The 2026 edition of the Miami yacht show promises ‘reimagined spaces’, which now encompasses five sites, both on land and on the water. The Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park have long been the main hubs for on-land exhibits in Miami. As usual, the Convention Center will be where most visitors start their Miami boat show experience and connect to the show’s other areas, while Pride Park will be home to a new-look immersive area called the Progressive Boat Show Experience.

Superyacht Miami at IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami will still be the hub of superyacht activity, but this year it will be complemented by two redesigned areas: the nearby Sailor’s Cove (also at IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami) and the Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue.

The upscale setting for the Miami Beach Yacht Collection will no doubt give the area a renewed level of prestige as guests view luxury yachts from revered yards such as Sanlorenzo, Princess and Ferretti.

Sailor’s Cove, meanwhile, will allow visitors to view beautiful sailing yachts side by side in the water in the city’s most coveted marine from where they can easily access the main attraction of the show: Superyacht Miami, home to the largest and most luxurious vessels at the show.

The busiest boating region in the US, with its non-stop sunshine, glamorous social scene and effortless access to the Florida Keys, Miami is a hub for the superyacht set, making this one of the must-visit yachting events of the year.

What to do in Miami during the Miami Boat Show 2026

Beyond the boat show, Miami is a vibrant city to explore, with an established yachting scene, cool art deco architecture, bold, maximalist hotels and authentic corners such as Little Havana – a hotbed of Cuban culture.

Miami’s social scene is equally celebrated, with strong demand expected for reservations at the acclaimed steakhouse Sunny’s this year. Meanwhile, though ‘club-staurants’ are a mainstay of Miami nightlife, few can compete with the 1970s-style Brazilian glamour of Amazonico.

For those looking to extend their time in Florida, Edmiston’s yacht brokers can arrange post-show Miami yacht charters for a quiet few days exploring the yachting playground of Biscayne Bay or for those looking to take a longer charter south to the string of beautiful cays that make up the Florida Keys.

As one of the world’s leading brokerage houses, Edmiston’s market leadership and deep industry knowledge will be invaluable to your time in Miami. To register your interest in attending the Miami International Boat Show, please speak to one of our luxury brokers today.
