Q1 2026 Market Update
Q1 2026 signals a return to more stable market conditions after an exceptional 2025. Edmiston recorded over €200 million in sales across nine yachts, strengthened its central agency portfolio with several new appointments, including the iconic 115m Lürssen PELORUS, and expanded its charter fleet, maintaining momentum through disciplined growth and market-leading access.
The first quarter of 2026 reflects a more measured phase for the market following the exceptional conditions of 2025. Sales activity is up 6% year-on-year, with a corresponding increase in total transaction value and a rise in deals above 60 metres, signalling continued strength at the top end of the market.
Against this backdrop, Edmiston completed the sale of nine yachts, including vessels up to 90 metres, with a combined value in excess of €200 million. We transacted two deals above 60 metres, reinforcing our position within this segment. A notable proportion of these transactions were conducted off market, underlining the continued importance of discretion and direct access in securing outcomes for both buyers and sellers.
This performance aligns with the trajectory anticipated at the outset of the year, reflecting a return to more sustainable market dynamics rather than any structural slowdown.
The quarter also saw Edmiston appointed as Central Agent for a number of standout yachts, including the 115m PELORUS and the 55m LAURENTIA. These additions further strengthen a sales fleet defined by pedigree, scale and global relevance.

Alongside this, the fleet has been enriched by a series of newly delivered yachts now available exclusively for charter with Edmiston. Highlights include a 100m+ new build, the 88m ANGELIQUE, and the 72m SILVER FOX. Each represents the evolving standard of modern yacht design and reinforces Edmiston’s position at the forefront of both sales and charter.
March concluded with a strong presence at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. The event provided a valuable platform to reconnect with clients and present a carefully curated selection of yachts, reflecting both current demand and future opportunity.

Looking ahead, the Palma International Boat Show will mark the next key moment in the calendar. Edmiston will present five yachts, forming one of the most significant fleets in attendance. Among them, the 47m Perini Navi ANDROMEDA LA DEA will be on display following an extensive rebuild, alongside the award-winning 43m Baltic Yachts CANOVA. A further two yachts will also be available for viewing in the Palma area.

As the year progresses, the focus remains on maintaining momentum through considered growth, selective representation, and continued access to the most compelling opportunities across the global fleet.
