Full Description
Exterior Design & Engineering
Designed by Nathanael Greene Herreshoff, her exterior embodies sailing tradition in every sense through her elegant profile with a stunning dark navy hull contrasted with the warm wooden toe rail and lighter teak deck finish.
During her 2017-2018 Pendennis refit, the teak deck and plywood sub deck were replaced, deck beams treated, painted and the deck profile reinstated with new fairing on the deck beams. Approximately 50m2 of hull plating was replaced and there were major steel repairs to chain locker and galley internal structures. The shaft alley was blasted back to white steel and painted new. She also underwent significant maintenance and repair work to diesel and water tanks. All wiring and plumbing was replaced, and the engine room layout was improved. In 2021, her main engines were completely rebuilt.
Constructed with a steel hull and teak superstructure and powered by twin 150 Hp Caterpillar engines she reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a cruising speed of 8 knots and range of 1500 miles under engine.
