Built by the renowned Italian shipyard Overmarine and designed by Stefano Righini, MOKA was delivered in 2011 as hull number six of the celebrated Mangusta 165’ series. Distinguished by her sleek 49.9m profile and powerful performance, she remains one of the most compelling examples of this iconic line.
Carefully maintained under private ownership, MOKA has benefitted from a continuous programme of refits and upgrades, most recently in 2023, and has been kept to strict ABS class requirements. Lightly used since delivery and presented in immaculate condition, she stands out as a rare opportunity within her series.
Full Description
Exterior Design & Engineering
MOKA is a planing motor yacht with a sleek GRP hull and superstructure that embody the signature Mangusta style. Designed by Stefano Righini, her profile is low, powerful and streamlined, combining performance-driven design with a commanding presence on the water.
Powered by three MTU engines delivering 4,612 hp each, MOKA reaches exhilarating speeds of up to 38 knots, with a 590nm range at her fast-cruising speed of 32 knots. Propelled by KaMeWa waterjets, she offers a smooth, high-performance ride that defines the Mangusta 165 series. With a shallow draft of just 1.6m, she is perfectly suited for coastal cruising and accessing bays and anchorages.
Amenities
The exterior spaces of MOKA are designed for both relaxation and entertainment. Her sundeck offers an oval dining table for up to 10 guests, a mini fridge, ice maker and BBQ to port, with an impressive open-air gym aft spanning the beam. The area can be left completely open to the sun or shaded beneath awnings, creating the ideal setting for workouts, long lunches or evening gatherings.
On the main deck aft, a welcoming lounge area with sofas and coffee tables flows into an alfresco dining space for 10 beneath a retractable awning. An additional table to starboard provides a place for games or more intimate dining, while a sofa to port enhances the relaxed atmosphere. Stepping inside, a countertop bar to port complements a formal oval dining table to starboard, creating a natural hub for entertaining.
The main salon itself is highly versatile, arranged with two large seating areas that can be configured in different modes. Tables lower for relaxed coffee or drinks settings or can be raised and extended to create additional dining areas. Both seating areas are equipped with 52-inch televisions, and the salon’s modular design ensures it works equally well for family gatherings or entertaining. Forward, the wheelhouse is discretely separated by an opaque glass partition.
On the foredeck, expansive lounge and dining areas are paired with an oversized sunbed. Retractable awnings allow each of MOKA’s exterior decks to be adapted for comfort throughout the day.
Interior Design
Overmarine’s in-house team has created a rich, sophisticated interior palette. Glossy ebony and oak panels pair with chocolate oak parquet flooring on the main deck, while soft beige carpets in the cabins add warmth and comfort. A subtle blend of tan, cream, and brown leathers completes an atmosphere that feels both contemporary and timeless.
Accommodation is arranged for up to 13 guests across five staterooms. The full-beam master suite, located aft, features a central king-size bed, vanity, and extensive wardrobe space, complemented by his and hers bathrooms, one with a steam shower, the other with an oversized whirlpool bath.
The VIP suite forward rivals the master in scale and luxury, with its own king-size bed, desk, generous storage, whirlpool bath, and Hammam-style shower. Additional guest accommodation includes a children’s cabin with three bunks and a Pullman, a twin cabin with Pullman, and a double cabin with a queen size bed. All are appointed with ensuite facilities and entertainment systems.
Toys & Tenders
MOKA yacht for sale comes with an extensive array of tenders and water toys, led by a 6.4m Castoldi Jet 21 tender. Her collection includes two rowing boats, two Tiwal inflatable sailing dinghies, an 8.5m x 9.5m inflatable platform with a 4m x 6m sea pool, and both a Takuma foil board and a Flite foil board for those seeking high-energy thrills on the water.
