Why you should exhibit your yacht with Edmiston at the Monaco Yacht Show this year
With brokers at the top of their game and visitors serious about buying, Monaco is an opportunity to get your yacht seen by the right people
The Monaco Yacht Show is back in Port Hercule in full force this year, from 28 September to 1 October.
It’s a much- anticipated return to form for the show, which Edmiston broker Hans Van Doornmalen calls the “best yacht show in the world for large yachts”, with the highest number of yachts of any show at the bigger end of the scale.
With great international connections through Nice and Cannes airports and high ticket prices filtering out all but serious buyers, the Monaco Yacht Show is a great place to ensure your yacht is seen by the right people.
Edmiston broker, Simon Goldsworthy, says: “If a yacht is in good condition and has had substantial investment in its maintenance, it’s a great opportunity to spread the word of that good condition among brokers and potential buyers.”
“It’s also a chance to put prospective buyers in front of yachts they might have ruled out on paper – sometimes you don’t know what you’re looking for until you see it.”
And, Simon says, this applies to yachts that are for charter as well as for sale, with yachts on display having the dual benefit of being seen by both sales and charter brokers.
Edmiston broker Jonathan Barbe echoes these views: “Quite simply, the Monaco Yacht Show is a chance to showcase your yacht and increase the likelihood of selling it,” he says.
The Monaco Yacht Show has been committed to promoting the crème de la crème of superyacht innovation since launching in 1991.
Last year’s show demonstrated how the event is also adapting to appeal to a new generation of customers, who have come to yachting after growing frustrated at the limitations placed on travel through the pandemic.
As always, The Edmiston Pavilion, located within the Monaco Yacht Club, will provide our clients with an exclusive show experience, with refreshments throughout the day and the chance to reconnect with brokers. Clients will also be invited to make use of our VIP services, which include chauffeured cars and luxury tenders.
And, of course, on the quay our presence will be keenly felt, with strong branding ensuring all our yachts stand out brilliantly, and our brokers making the most of the elevated prospects offered by a show like this.
Edmiston broker Cornelius Gerling says: “Monaco is the most recognised yacht show in the world. Yachting companies make every effort to be here, and people who attend are serious buyers. There is no better show in terms of visibility.”
