Exclusive video of ENDEAVOUR
Yachting World recently filmed the legendary ENDEAVOUR as part of a forthcoming J Class special and look-ahead to the America’s Cup.
The shoot took place off Cascais, Portugal, in what Yachting World Technical Editor, Toby Hodges, described as “perfect conditions”.
Offered for sale exclusively through Edmiston, ENDEAVOUR is widely seen as the yacht that reignited interest in both the America’s Cup and J Class.
Steeped in history but also offering an incredible opportunity for her future owner, Endeavour is one of only three original J’s still on the water. Having been rescued and completely restored by famous yachtswoman Elizabeth Mayer in 1989, her current owner embarked on a major refit in 2012, installing the latest sailing technology and rigging, creating a supreme performer on the water.
Effortlessly making 12 knots in just 15 knots of wind during this shoot, she is a proven race-winner but also a majestic cruiser.
Look out for the March issue of Yachting World, on sale mid-February for the full feature on ENDEAVOUR, when the full-length video will be released, for now enjoy our sneak peek of a very special yacht.
